Who we are...

Its simple were two guys that love BBQ and understand that it is a personal preference and we can’t please everyone. We built BBQ King Smokehouse based on two ideas. Great BBQ the way we like it, and a place that we would go to hang out. As a result we came up with a small cozy place that welcomes you as soon as you walk in the door. From the natural aroma of our Hickory smoker filling the building, to the old recycled barn wood that was used for the décor. BBQ King Smokehouse will feel like the place you want to come to watch your favorite team, socialize with friends, or just bring the family to have some great BBQ. All of our sauces and dry rubs are original recipes we created over the years and we stick to our philosophy of always fresh never frozen.

 

History how we got started…

 
BBQ King Catering was started about 8 years ago with two brothers who just loved to cook. We started messing around in the back yard and wrecked a lot of food. But one day we figured it out, and started to do events for family and friends. Then we tried our hand at the KCBS BBQ competition circuit. We were very successful only cooking in a handful of events but placing in the top 5 at all of them. Despite our success we really missed the interaction with the customers and the comments people gave us on our food. In 2008 we started to advertise and built a website. The business took off. People were blown away by our process and our passion. As a result we book up for our pig roasts a year in advance. Nothing beats a natural wood and charcoal fire roasting a pig for 12-16 hours.
